The Key to Success
There is a contingent of dedicated, no, religious Dr. Pepper drinkers in the world today. Personally, I find the flavor intriguing, but not addictive. This week I had an epiphany related to Diet Dr. Pepper. I learned through a trusted source that John Piper drinks Diet Dr. Pepper like a maniac. I can also testify from personal experience that Dennis Rainey is borderline addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper. Finally, I've observed Wayne Grudem drinking Diet Dr. Pepper at least one time - i think you can see where this is going.
Application: If you want to be a spiritual stud, you better start drinking Diet Dr. Pepper.

Anne Jackson, author of Mad Church Disease and Mark Lee of Third Day are both avid DDP drinkers, too. So am I. However, I pale in importance to this esteemed group.
I wonder
I didn't finish...
I wonder if C.S. Lewis would've consumed Diet Dr. Pepper OR if he would've just stuck to a stout ale in the Rabbit Room at the Eagle and the Child?
This is strange, John. First of all, Dr. Pepper is gross. It tastes like someone ground up raisins and threw them in there. Second, you take out the sugar and think that will improve the flavor? Have you tried checking out the spriritual brilliance of coffee drinkers? Some wonderful person has authored a book called, When God goes to Starbucks. I have never heard of "When God drinks Diet Dr. Pepper" mainly because He would spit it out, I am sure!!! :)
I think C.S. Lewis would probably stick with Beer. As to Coffee - no question that there is inherent brilliance in those that consume the beautifully oily beverage. I'm convinced my struggling intellect has been in decline since giving up the black nectar. Of course God prefers the beverage. We all know "He-brews."
Good one!!!! Love it! See you round the coffee cup in Heaven!!
You may be on to something. Our former superintendent, in addition to being a godly man, is also quite a fan of diet dr. pepper
